3rd Annual GOSEHR Summit

Saturday March 21st 2026, St Edmund Hall, Oxford

Join researchers, implementers, educators, engineers, business leaders and investors to review the progress and future plans for Global Open Source Electronic Health Records using cityEHR. Hear about activities in Africa, Pakistan and Ukraine as well as the US, Canada, UK and Norway.

This one-day international summit, brings together academics, healthcare professionals, engineers and donors. A full day event including the gala dinner on Saturday evening. Arrive on Saturday morning or stay in college and enjoy an informal dinner on Friday before the summit starts. College accommodation is also available on Saturday night.

For delegates arriving on Friday afternoon there is an informal dinner in the Wolfson Hall. This is an opportunity to enjoy a relaxed meal and connect with other delegates ahead of the summit meeting the next morning.
On Saturday we introduce the collaborating universities, Non-Government Organizations and Community Companies, working together to deliver the GOSEHR vision of sustainable access to electronic health records, for the benefit of patients in lower-income countries. Case studies will include implementation in Africa, Pakistan and Ukraine, with demonstrations and poster presentations during the breaks.
On Saturday evening dinner is served at the Divinity School of the Bodleian Library, one of the most remarkable halls in the university, built in the 15th century and more recently the scene of Hogwarts Infirmary in Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone. Musical entertainment will be provided by the award-winning EAGA Gospel Choir – expect some audience participation!
